FRIENDS OF THE FORGOTTEN® , NORTHEAST WING

The intent and purpose of the Friends of the Forgotten® is to educate and raise public awareness of the POW/MIA Issue. Friends of the Forgotten is not connected with or affiliated with any other organization or political party. Friends of the Forgotten, Inc. is not intended to raise funds for profit. Any funds received or raised will be used for education, donations or operating expenses. Friends of the Forgotten, Inc. operates under the Federal guidelines for nonprofit organizations.

WE ARE NOT A MOTORCYCLE CLUB! Our annual POW/MIA Awareness run and ceremony have the specific purpose of drawing public attention to the POW/MIA issue. These are demonstration rides meant to heighten our countrymen's consciousness about our prisoners of war and those missing in action.

Friends of the Forgotten is not about wearing patches. If your motivation for joining is to get the patches, please look to some other organization. Our patches represent an organization dedicated to the return of our POW/MIAs and ensuring that the servicemen and women of today and tomorrow will not be left behind or forgotten.

Friends of the Forgotten Inc. is about commitment, volunteerism, and work. If you are unable or unwilling to devote a portion of your time to planning, organizing and participating in events and fund raisers please look elsewhere. If on the other hand you are committed to enhancing the lives of our veterans and service members while keeping focused on the POW/MIA issue, then this is the group for you. You will be welcomed as a long lost brother or sister.
